Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Please note that our ceremony will be held indoors. The cocktail hour will take place outside and the reception will be indoors, offering a cool and comfortable setting. As it is a June wedding, we recommend dressing comfortably for the weather.

What is the dress code to the ceremony?

We’re excited to have you join us for our wedding ceremony! The dress code is colorful cocktail attire. For men, a suit or dress shirt with slacks is perfect, and women are welcome to wear a summer or floral cocktail dress, an elegant midi or a sophisticated dressy skirt and top ensemble. Traditional Indian attire is also welcomed for those who wish to wear it. All we ask is that you please refrain from wearing white to the ceremony, thank you!

Where should I park for the cocktail hour/reception?

For our wedding guests attending the event at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, self-parking is complimentary for the day. This offer allows you to enjoy the celebration without worrying about parking fees.&nbsp;

What is the dress code to the reception?

You're welcome to wear formal cocktail attire—think of it as a chance to dress up and have some fun with color! For women, this could mean a sophisticated evening cocktail dress, a chic jumpsuit, or a stylish skirt-and-top ensemble in vibrant summer hues. For men, a suit or dress pants with a blazer and button-down shirt in lighter tones or bold accents is perfect. We’d love to see you celebrate in style—bright, elegant, and festive! Some guests may choose to change outfits between events, but please know that it's completely optional—comfort is key! We also warmly welcome traditional formal Indian attire such as sarees, lehengas, sherwanis, and bandhgalas. Think of it as a beautiful opportunity to celebrate our blended cultures in style and color. All we ask is that you kindly refrain from wearing red to the reception, thank you!

What type of cuisine will be served during the cocktail/reception?

Guests will be treated to a vibrant selection of Indian cuisine during both the cocktail hour and reception. The menu will feature a thoughtful balance of vegetarian, vegan, and non-vegetarian options, showcasing rich flavors, aromatic spices, and regional specialties to suit every palate.

Where are you registered for gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we’re truly honored to have you celebrate with us. As much as we appreciate your generosity, we kindly request no boxed gifts—having you there is all we need.

The 51st Summer Solstice Celebration will take place June 20th - 22nd in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.&nbsp;Kicking off Friday night at 4pm the festivities will begin at Alameda Park for the Opening Ceremony Celebration. From 4-9pm enjoy music from local bands, food, beverages, dancing, vendors and the spirit of celebrating the longest day of the year.&nbsp; Saturday June 21st, at 12pm noon, the Parade will begin at the intersection of Santa Barbara and Ortega Street. The parade will travel up Santa Barbara Street ending at Summer Solstice Festival at Alameda park on Sola Street.
